Change To Forum Landing Page

Have made a slight change to the forum Structure.

The Landing Page (ie page you arrive at, is now the Portal Page, not the Forum index)

To get to the full forums use the Onlineworlds Community Forum link at top left of the page, or the Forums link in the Navigation Links section.

For those who want the URLS...

http://onlineworlds.org/forum is the Portal Page Default
http://onlineworlds.org/forum/index.php?act=idx will take you directly to the forum index
http://onlineworlds.org/forum/index.php?act=home will also take you to the portal page

http://onlineworlds.org also now redirects to the Default Portal Page

New Profile Options

3 New fields have been added to player profiles.

GA Status, MR Status ST Status

They can be set to.

New Player
Actvie Player
Veteran
Retired
Don't Play

and will appear on the members profile page and in the left info area of posts.

Set them by going to My Controls, Edit Profile, Then select the options you want from the Drop Downs

Mass Member Deletions

Have just completed deleteing around 3k inactive or spam related accounts, I was pretty ruthless so I have probably got a few genuine accounts by mistake, my appologies if that happened to anyone.

Simply reregister to create a new account if this is the case.

Registrations currently require Admin Authorisation in an attempt to cut back on the spammers, so it make take a short while for your account to be approved.

Hopefully this will help us keep on top of the whole spam situation

Forum / Member Details

Can active Forum readers please fill in some of their Member Details, Im slowly working my way through deleting old and inactive accounts and it helps to show if people are active even if they arnt posting.



Just Click on the My Controls link at top right, then edit profile from the menu on the left of the my controls page.

How Do You Login ?

How do most players login to our games ?

From the game portal / login page ?
From a Desktop login ?
From A Link in your task menu / desktop ?
From the Forums ?


I have some time to work on the Overall OLW account concept, just wondering how people like to login to the games.
